Alex Olshansky
Prior to founding Apex, Alex was a founding Partner and Head of Investments at Zenith IOS, a national industrial storage platform capitalized by two joint ventures with JP Morgan Asset Management.
Alex led Zenith from inception to ~$700 million in GAV having acquired 60 properties in 25 markets. Prior to Zenith, Alex was Director of Acquisitions at Abingdon Square Partners, where he focused on industrial and self-storage investments in New York, Florida, and Texas.
Previously, Alex held roles in Los Angeles with IDS Real Estate Group working on acquisitions and asset management and at Ackman-Ziff in their capital advisory group.
He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and received a MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Steve Ruimy
Steve has over 14 years of experience in real estate investment, development and asset management in North America and Europe, Steve previously worked at Silver Creek Development and the Macquarie Group.
He oversaw the development, acquisition and disposition and management of over 10 MSF of commercial real estate assets and managed a portfolio of over $4B across the United States.
Steve graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Suffolk University and earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business where he focused on Real Estate, Corporate Finance, and Strategy.

Jonah Chang
Prior to Apex, Jonah was part of the founding team at Zenith IOS. As a key member of the team, he was deeply involved in the fundraising process, and created and maintained the financial models, decks and diligence materials.
His responsibilities included sourcing/underwriting deals and generating new investment theses. Prior to Zenith, Jonah worked at Starwood Capital, where he was responsible for overseeing ~$9B across six funds with varying strategies.
As a junior portfolio manager, his responsibilities included asset/fund-level financial engineering, recommending valuation methodologies, and optimizing the funds’ strategies to ultimately increase Net-to-LP returns. Jonah received his B.S. degree in Business with a concentration in Data Science from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
